My Favorite Things- June Edition June 17, 2017 by Melissa BergSummer is finally here! You know what else is here?! My birthday. Whoop whoop! I decided that in honor of this special occasion 😉 I would make a list of my favorite things I’m lovin’ lately and share them with you. Fused black coffee This coffee is the best. I know, right? Why take an already near-perfect product and change it? Because the amazing folks at Rain International combined four seed oils (grapefruit seed, grape seed, pomegranate seed and black cumin seed) with a delicious cup of coffee, making it a super-charged source of nutrition. And a great way to kickstart your morning! Friends don’t let friends drink bad coffee, they drink Fused. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Speaking of coffee, I love to pop these Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my morning cup of Fused. Pasture-raised and grass-fed, these peptides keeps my bones and gut healthy and hair shiny. I’ve also noticed my nails are stronger. Manicure, anyone? 🙂 Ginger Ninja Tea Have you heard about the Low FODMAP Diet? It’s completely changed my life. I’ll spare you all the details, but essentially, FODMAPs include fructose and lactose found in foods naturally or food additives. The Low FODMAP Diet can help treat IBS. The FODMAP Friendly Tea Co., founded by a health and wellness coach and long-time sufferer of digestive issues, is the only tea company in the world to be certified FODMAP-friendly! I’m in love with the Ginger Ninja tea, a blend of ginger, lemongrass and hibiscus. RXBAR — Chocolate Sea Salt Don’t even get me started on the deliciousness of RXBARs. My fave is the Chocolate Sea Salt flavor. It’s the perfect snack to refuel after my workout. With ingredients like egg whites, dates, almonds, cocoa and seat salt, I feel good about packing it in my gym bag. Those burpees, though…that’s another story. doTERRA shampoo and conditioner You know you’re a mom when you get excited about a locked-door shower. For 10 minutes, I can escape into the quiet calm that is my bathroom while the noise-cancelling water sprays against my back. I love, love, love my doTERRA shampoo and conditioner and so do my kids! The essential oils of Wild Orange and Lime leave my hair feeling shiny, healthy and strong. So I can conquer what happens after my locked-door shower. Essential oil bag I found the perfect blend of essential oils to bring me zen on a busy day — doTERRA Breathe: a mix of peppermint, eucalyptus, lemon and cardamom. A swipe on the bottom of my feet and I’m good to go. But, I just recently found this perfect bag to carry all my faves with me. Individual pockets can hold up to 14 essential oil bottles. Perfect for when I’m on-the-go! Jen Sincero — You are a Badass and You are a Badass at Making Money I’m all for beach chick-lit, but when I need a kick in the butt, I turn to my friend Jen. In You Are a Badass, author and life coach Jen Sincero offers bite-sized chapters full of exercises and stories that will empower you (at least they empowered me) to take action and live the life of your dreams. And in her second sassy book, You are a Badass at Making Money, she encourages us to ditch fear and limiting beliefs about making money. 5 in 1 Mascara I’m a big believer in the five-minute-face. Sunscreen, light coverage, mascara, blush and a fun lip color. Boom. Out the door. This means I only have time for one lash product. That’s why I choose IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5 in 1 Mascara. Not only does this increase volume and length, but it does so without parabens, fragrance or sulfates. Glassy Blossom Strong Pendant I adore this Glassy Blossom Strong Pendant by Color by Amber. Because it’s made with ecoresin, it contains natural elements like hand-spun silks and artisan-crafted fossil leaves. Even better, I love that Color by Amber works with women artisan communities around the world to create those interlayers.
